SES, the leading communications satellite operator based in Betzdorf, will challenge the students through the creation of a "Media Innovation" project. An endowment of 25,000 euros in cash, connections with employers and investors as well as equipment are up for grabs. The Morpheus Prize is extremely easy to take part in: simply register individually or in teams before March 31st and submit the draft electronically on the website before April 12th, 2017.
From its very first edition in 2015, the MorpheusCup has received the support of the European Commission, for its efforts to bridge the gap between the current and future needs and demands of the job market in Europe. This year is no exception as Commissioners Marianne Thyssen, from the Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility department, and Carlos Moedas from the Research, Science and Innovation department confirmed the EC's support for the first time.
The Morpheus Cup and the Morpheus Prize are organized by Farvest, a marketing agency founded in June 2000 and already with major tech and digital media summits behind it (ICT Spring, Space Forum) as well as events in 10 sectors of activity.
