Managing the IP workflow at IBC 2018

BFE wants to simplify Broadcast Control and Monitoring

At IBC 2018, BFE will showcase their KSC product line for managing and designing IP workflows.

KSC Core is an available, adaptable control and management system, supposed to allow fast and flexible control of the entire broadcast chain for all areas of the broadcast world: planning, contribution, production, playout and distribution.

KSC Silknet is a broadcast SDN solution, allowing broadcasters to intelligently manage bandwidth, visualize network topology, manage network services, automatically identify and register devices and use intelligent algorithms to calculate routes between sender and receiver within a network for maximizing bandwidth.

KSC Appliance is supposed to be the easiest way to start a broadcast project, as stated on their own account. A 19”-case houses a powerful server, optimized for pre-installed KSC products and features redundant power supplies, battery backup, full SNMP monitoring and an optional IO controller. Designed for small and mobile broadcast installations or as a starting point for larger setups with multiple KSC Appliance units in teaming mode.

The installation can be completet with KSC Equipment made in Germany. The hardware control panels, GPIO controllers, serial interface & sync IF racks or under monitor displays are designed to work with all KSC products and extend and optimize the software solutions even further.

All solutions can be seen at IBC 2018.
