IBC2019: Vizrt and NewTek envision the future of media

Following the acquisition of NewTek by Vizrt, IBC2019 will play host to the group’s first joint presentation. NewTek, Vizrt and partners will be using NDI IP video standard throughout all the exhibition halls.

Vizrt, will be promoting the latest updates to its core platforms and product ranges at IBC2019. Viz Engine 4 will be launched and featured throughout The Big AR Sports Show. Efficient newsroom and automation workflows will be presented in Connected Storytelling, with new features in the automation range that is to prepare media companies to succeed in a future of complex, live productions. The importance of IP, as the format of the future, will be presented at A New Era of Live Production, looking at why NDI is one of the key standards for achieving efficient IP production. IP-based, software defined visual storytelling (SDVS) production and traditional SDI enhancements to production platforms are to enable powerful automation-driven storytelling capabilities.

The Vizrt Stage will also premier a range of disruptive thought leadership presentations, as well as fresh content for the feature presentations. This includes The Big AR Sports Show which will show audiences how the Vizrt Sports software can be utilised for easy-to-use AR, play analysis, and the monetization of sports and live events content.

The Vizrt Sports offering will be an important feature for visitors from sports broadcasters and rights holders in preparation for the Olympics, UEFA EUROs, and other major sporting events in 2020.
